We regard an orphanage as temporary form of children’s stay. A child shouldn’t stay too long in educational institution, which, no matter how hard we try, cannot replace a family. The tasks of the orphanage include overcoming previous negative experience of child’s life and preparing him or her for adoption.

Taking care of a homeless child or a child from a problem family is only a beginning. The main task of bringing-up consists in spiritual awakening of individuality, in child’s readiness to be responsible for actions before society and in seeing prospects of his development in it.
